Dhirendra N Soral, heads strategy and operations at MSWLearning Systems. He has been a leader strategy and global business coordinator, at MSW, since November 2006. Dhirendra has been a keen observer of the Indian education sector and forecasts double digit growth for a couple of decades. Dhirendra envisions industry status being granted to the education sector sooner rather than later and predicts that competition will intensify with each passing day. Survival and sustenance will hinge on the cost structure of the business model with growth coming from scale and scope in operations, he comments. Foreign university bill in his opinion will be cleared by the parliament within 2010 which will create a different set of dynamics in the business of education. Dhirendra adds that he loves to talk and could be available to share his vision, at a short notice when in India. Prior to accepting the responsibility at MSWLearning Systems, Dhirendra worked on the entry strategy and launched in India TAFE, SA and RCSA, two notable Australian brands. Growth preferred organically but keep an eye on acquisitions, alliances will be the mantra for the next two years.
